The Canal (Partial Transit)

We took a transit tour of the canal with my parents (Nira Cats). It was a half transit that took us 4 hours from Gamboa to the Pacific.

お船で運河を半分通過するツアー。

We were actually in the locks. You see the level of water went down quite significantlly.

関門の中で、水位が下がっていくのを体験できます。

It's really cool to see the door open from the boat. You get to go through 3 locks.

３つの関門をボートで通過すします。大きな扉が太平洋に向かって開くのを見るのは感動です。

The tour includes lunch, soft drinks, and a T-shirt. From the window, you can see how the wall of the lock.

ツアーはランチ付き。窓の外には運河の壁が写っているんだけど、見えるかな？

The ship went under the bridge of Americas that connects North and South America.

ランチを食べたらあっという間に太平洋。北アメリカと南アメリカをつなぐ、アメリカ橋をくぐって太平洋へ出ます。一度は乗ってみたい、運河通過ツアーでした。
